About

Me...Mark Grealish

I really hate writing “about me” posts because I either revert to the third-person and come off as incredibly stuck up (“Mark is a master infrared landscape photographer…”) or I stick to the more intimate first-person, get embarrassed and revert to poking fun at my self at my own expense (““…the world’s greatest photographer, lover and liar.”).

Is it too humble (or arrogant) of me to simply state that I’d rather be judged by my photography?

Well okay, it probably is too arrogant. My name is Mark and I…

…look, do we really have to do this? I have between twenty and fifty readers and we all know each other fairly well. I take take photos and I make snarky witty remarks about, to and for the benefit of my fellow photographers. Grumble grumble grumble.

My name is Mark and I take passably viewable infrared photographs. I love trees and buildings with a clear, unbroken prominence against the sky. When I look up I want to see two things: 1. Building. 2. Sky. Nothing more and hopefully less.
